Dispute Avoidance/Minimisation in Construction Contracts, presented by Mr. Billy Morrissey
Specialising in Project Dispute Avoidance, Minimisation / Resolution and Procurement, William Morrissey is a chartered civil engineer by profession, an honours graduate of UCD. He acts as a commercial conciliator, standing conciliator, adjudicator, mediator, and arbitrator and specialises in project dispute avoidance and is a panel member of the International Dispute Board Federation.
Claims Under Public Works Contracts, presented by Mr. John Lyden
John Lyden has worked in the construction industry since 1970. He has experience of a very wide range of building and civil engineering projects. He has advised parties in disputes up to €25 million and has acted as the Conciliator/Mediator or Arbitrator in disputes up to €20 million.
Defects; a Legal Perspective, presented by Mr. Denis O'Driscoll
Denis O'Driscoll is sole principal of Denis O'Driscoll & Associates, Solicitors. He is also duly qualified as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and has over 30 years’ construction industry experience in the capacity both as quantity surveyor and lawyer. He has worked as a PQS and a contractor's QS on a variety of large-scale building and civil engineering projects and also as a commercial manager for a major international contractor operating in south-east Asia.
